Rooms are spacious and stylish, with comfy beds and nice decor. Elevator wait times were a hassle, especially during busy hours.

The room was beautiful and well-kept. The elevators were slow, and only a few were operational. Happy hour at the bar was nice, but the valet parking fee is high at $59.

The historic charm of the building adds a lovely touch. The staff is as courteous as a butler at a tea party, always ready to help.

The curtains were a letdown despite paying extra for a view.

The stay was a real hassle. Only one elevator worked, which made getting around a nightmare. On top of that, the area felt unsafe—there were sketchy folks outside, and we were advised not to wander after dark, which was unsettling.

Clean and comfortable rooms with character. Excellent location near Main Street bars, restaurants, and the stadium. The historic restoration maintains charm. Big, comfy beds; the best I've slept on in a hotel. the experience had its faults. Valet parking is $40 a day—no one mentioned this upfront. I was charged twice unexpectedly. Fire alarms went off late at night due to someone mishandling a fire extinguisher. Slow elevators—only two operational and long waits. Housekeeping by appointment only; I had to request basic necessities at the front desk. the AC was unpredictable. Quality service can make or break a stay; improvements are necessary to match the beautiful property.

My stay was truly enjoyable as I discovered that Christ Church Cathedral was just a few steps away and in no time I was at Discovery Green, all while being only 7 minutes from my event downtown, making it incredibly convenient for the weekend strolls I love; the room was cozy and well maintained with a luxurious feel, very clean and I felt taken care of thanks to the attentive staff, but I did experience some inconvenience with the elevator, as only one elevator was working.

Clean rooms with comfy beds and a nice play pen for our baby. Staff is super friendly and really helpful, made us feel at home.

It wasn't the cheapest option, but worth it for the comfort.

Loved the beautiful rooms with a nice view of the city, and the front desk staff was super friendly which made us feel welcome. The hotel's location was fantastic as it was close to everything we wanted to do, especially the stadium. Plus, the room size was just right, and the beds were comfy ensuring a good night's sleep.

There were some downsides to the stay. Additionally, the slow service and lack of staff at the bar/restaurant made dining inconvenient.

Great staff and comfy rooms. Valet is pricey and not enough parking.

The room was spacious and comfortable, complete with a decent-sized bathroom, while the view of the city lights was a delightful surprise. Exceptional service from Nick and Matthew made travel easier, especially with their help moving my wheelchair and luggage. Sadly, the elevator situation was frustrating; it took far too long to get one, and I ended up stuck for a few minutes. The bar had potential but could use more attention. While the staff was friendly, there were some service lapses. The experience had highs and lows, making it a mixed bag overall.

The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from popular spots like Discovery Green and George R Brown Convention Center, making it super easy to enjoy a weekend of strolling around the city, while the comfort of my room was outstanding with a cozy bed that ensured a great night's sleep; everything was clean and tidy too. The staff were friendly and made the stay welcoming, but some minor issues with check-in could be improved.

The hotel has a beautiful design and great location near the Astros stadium.

Valet lost a guest's firearm and wouldn't help. Slow elevators were a major hassle.

The historic ambiance and comfortable beds provided a relaxing escape, while the friendly staff enhanced our experience. Just be prepared for additional parking fees and timing during busy checkout periods.

The room was spacious with a stunning view of the city. The bed was comfortable, making it easy to fall asleep. the air conditioning was too cold; my request to adjust it went unfulfilled. Noise from the cleaning staff was disruptive in the morning. The bathroom had a walk-in shower with a shower chair—very accessible. The toilet clogged on the first use, which wasn't ideal. Though the room was clean overall, the breakfast service lacked efficiency. A kettle and toaster would have enhanced the experience. The missing pool was noticeable, especially in warmer weather.

The staff greeted us warmly upon arrival and were informative about the valet service. The room was spacious, clean, and had modern amenities like a Bluetooth mirror. The comfortable bed and well-sized TV were a plus. The location was central, making it easy to explore the nearby district and attend a baseball game.

The cleaning staff was very loud in the morning, disrupting our rest. The restaurant service was lacking, with dirty tables and a struggle to get basic items like silverware.

Upon arriving at the Cambria, I was quite pleased with the spacious room and the excellent bathroom facilities. The room had a nice sitting area which was perfect for relaxing after a long day out exploring. there were a few areas that could have been better. One of the most frustrating aspects of my stay was the unreliable elevators. I experienced long waits, with some instances of waiting over 15 minutes for an elevator to arrive. This made getting to and from my room quite inconvenient, especially considering the hotel was busy during my stay. The slow elevators also led to me opting to take the stairs at times, which was not ideal. the lack of free parking was disappointing. The valet parking was quite expensive, and I felt like I was being forced to pay for it since there were no other convenient options available. This added cost was not something I had budgeted for and would have been helpful to know in advance. Despite these drawbacks, I did appreciate the helpful staff and the convenient downtown location of the Cambria. The room itself was comfortable and well-appointed, making for a pleasant stay overall.

We had a blast catching a baseball game at the stadium nearby, Minute Maid Park! The atmosphere was electric, and the convenience of being able to walk to the game with the family made the experience even more enjoyable.

My kids wished for a dedicated play area onsite for more family-friendly activities. ”.

My stay at the hotel was very enjoyable and I will stay here next time I'm in town. The view from my 15th-floor window was beautiful, and the room furnishings were great. The bathroom mirror had Bluetooth capability, which was cool. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Although the AC had a mind of its own and the shower water pressure was weak, the overall experience was positive. The hotel's brand new rooms were sleek and comfortable. I'll recommend this hotel.

I had a blast taking advantage of the 24, hour fitness center. The staff were always available to provide advice. A cooked, to, order breakfast was just my cup of tea.

Of course, I adored walking up and down 12 flights of stairs when the elevators failed. What a workout!

I chose the Cambria Hotel for its proximity to the Buffalo Soldiers National Museum, and I was pleasantly surprised by the reasonable parking charges. The shared lounge, restaurant, and bar were great additions to the experience.

No breakfast for the price.
